indoor and outdoor planters

As we cruise into fall, I want to ensure we are surrounded by luscious plants on the inside and outside of our home, especially plants that can survive year round. We have bought two planters for the upper deck and one for the living room but are on the lookout for more planters that fit our budget. This is the perfect time of year to purchase planters because they often go on sale at the end of the summer. Planters and plants are often very expensive so it takes some digging to find the right planter for the right place. Lucky for you, I've rounded up my favorite and affordable planters for in and out - I plan on finding a place for these soon.

Our outdoor planters c/o Merrifield Garden Center

CB2 Black Rattan Planter - $39 - $129: These planters are rattan so I would recommend keeping them indoors but you really can't beat the price for this size. They are also available in a wood colored rattan.

Terra Cotta Planter Set - $129: If you're really looking to up your planter collection, buy a set of three. I love these terra cotta planters for inside or outside.

Common House Studio Cylinder Planter - $85: I love this millennial pink planter (but it comes in other colors if you're not into that...) for inside, an office, a bedroom?

World Market Ceramic Sevilla Outdoor Planter - $69: Gorgeous outdoor (or indoor planter) on sale now, I love it in gray.

Pier 1 Concrete Patterned Set of 2 - $79: Such a good deal from Pier 1, I think these would look good in a bathroom or entryway.

Porcelain Urn Planter - $75: Perigold is an awesome site with so many beautiful planters, I love the rich green of this one but plenty of options to choose from.

Campania Terra Cotta Set - $125: Another set for only $125, gorgeous for a front door or patio.

I find that planters can be really expensive if you buy them at a garden store but the online options are abundant. The most important thing is to measure before you order to make sure it fits the space where you want to incorporate it. My newest addition is finding a home indoors and so far thriving...
