A note on methodology: The above neighborhoods are comprised of majority MCM homes that have sold in the last two to three years. As it relates to selling price, square foot, property tax, and time period - this is based on the homes I consider in the preferred style, under $1 million, requiring little renovation or rework and at least 3 bedrooms, 2 bath. I also prefer homes built by Goodman, KLC, Satterlee, Lethbridge, and Woodward Smith and the neighborhoods in which they are the primary architects are included here. This is not to say that there are not other neighborhoods in the DMV where there are amazing MCMs but the following have the most per geographic location. My hope is that this list provides you a starting point in looking for an MCM home in this area. I would be remiss if I also left out two great resources: Modern Capital DC and DC Modern Homes.
